Supporting Families in Gilroy and South Santa Clara County

Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County and the Farmworkers Caravan partnered to host the Alegria Family Fiesta Event on May 5 at Catholic Charities’ Gilroy Annex. A toy drive for children was a main feature of the event, and more than 400 donated toys were distributed.

Entertainment was provided by Catholic Charities CORAL Afterschool Program’s Folklorico Dancers from McKinley Elementary. Pictured are: Penelope Tupou, Aaliyah Mejia, Van Nguyen, Analyce Arias, Lidia Guzman, Amelie Luevano, and Jizel Overstreet; and Charly Hernandez.

Donate today to make an impact in changing lives for good – one family at a time.

At Catholic Charities sites around the county, we are offering families more than just a one-time, single service.  Our goal is to provide families a path to achieve economic mobility and tools to help left themselves out of poverty.  And we are with them on their journeys every step of the way.
