“In fiscal year 2022-23, we celebrated several major accomplishments expanding our impact helping families and individuals meet their needs. Charities Housing opened a new apartment building and broke ground on two additional developments. Footsteps, our new visionary approach to disrupt poverty through a family-centered community change, codesigned service guidance with families, and started services in its launch location in Gilroy as we prepare for our planned expansion to other locations in San Jose. Final planning is well underway for our new Blossom Valley Family Center, a state-of-the-art facility offering neighborhood-based services within a new Charities Housing apartment building. In addition, we supported the financial stability of families by expanding our Family Asset Development by helping families access public benefits, and Earned Income Tax Credits, and Child Tax Credits through our TaxEZ free tax assistance program.
