The Talk

The topic is “The Talk” given to Black and Brown children by their parents. “The Talk” is a conversation about how our children who are Black and Brown show up in public spaces with special attention to how they would interact with authority figures, such as the police. This month our moderator will be Rev. Steve Pinkston, associate pastor at Maranatha Christian Center and former faculty member at Bellarmine College Prep. He will host a panel of participants from Catholic Charities staff and community members.
