Position Summary:

As Day Break Cares, social enterprise of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, work to scale its successful engagement approach to reach more individuals & families to provide them with the services, information, tools, and resources needed to help them lead healthier lifestyles, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic (motivated, positive, etc.) member to join our team and help grow our social enterprise. The Sales & Marketing Specialist will engage with physicians, health facilities, community organizations, public institutions, and faith based communities to promote business growth and build client accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• New Client Development (Sales) - Achieves targeted sales goals necessary to support program objectives and promote business growth; responsible for customer sales, cultivating client accounts, selling client services, as well as providing customer service support. Effectively cultivates new business opportunities; Participates in effective networking activities as approved by program directors; Supports customer care through timely call backs, effective listening and understanding.

• Communications and Marketing: - Implement marketing and sales plans to recruit new clients, partners and sponsors including goals, tactics and timeline; Facilitate direct marketing efforts, including the development of promotional materials for recruitment and outreach strategies; Develop and edit a Day Break Cares e- newsletter highlighting program activities, industry trends, and community resources; Expand upon and explore new avenues to promote Day Break Cares through social networking sites; Oversee content on social media networks;
• Outreach - Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs; Implements marketing and advertising campaigns, planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars; Attend speaking events, health fairs and community events; Empower seniors and family caregivers by providing them with the appropriate information, resources and support.
• Research & Information - Provide prospect research reports and profiles as needed to increase Day Break Cares’ base of partners; Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintain accurate and timely sales and outreach data and completes summary reports as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Business or Health related field preferred.
• Two (2) years sales / marketing experience is required. Healthcare marketing is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the agency state of operation or surrounding area with appropriate auto insurance.
• High energy, dynamic individual, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple planned and unplanned projects. The ideal candidate is someone who takes the initiative to move projects forward and with good judgment.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research skills.
• Stellar organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with public and professional audiences with tact and diplomacy.
• Flexible work style, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
• Experience managing social media.
