Position Overview

CCSCC seeks an evaluation associate to help our team track and report the outcomes of our programs and services. Supervised by our Client Information Manager, the evaluation associate works closely with the agency’s IT Director and Chief Operations Officer, a nationally recognized evaluation expert, to implement an agency-wide evaluation design currently in development and a key goal in our agency-wide strategic plan. POSITION SUMMARY:
Catholic Charities is working closely with the Franklin McKinley School District in San Jose to deliver Prevention & Early Intervention (PEI) Services in partnership with the Mental Health Department. Employing evidence-based practices, PEI services are targeting high-risk youth and their families with the goal of preventing, reducing, and eliminating mental health issues that may be inhibiting academic success and family wellness. The Behavior Specialist supports PEI by engaging families in services aimed at addressing behavioral issues through educational workshops and sessions, and behavior support planning service in the home and in the community, connecting students and families to resources that will reduce/eliminate nonproductive and violent behaviors. Extensive training will be provided.

Celebrating more than 60 years, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County (CCSCC) creates pathways of hope and opportunity for disadvantaged people of all backgrounds in our region. CCSCC is the disaster response arm of the Diocese with responsibility for Long-Term Recovery Case Management Services for the County of Santa, including San Jose. The DRS Case Manager provides direct services to DRS clients under the direction of the DRS Program Manager. The DRS Case Manager’s specific role is to serve survivors of the Winter 2017 Coyote Creek Flood in San Jose, as well as residents impacted by future natural our human-made calamities in our region, to advance their long-term wellness and quality of life.
